This video-based online course is available to buy at a reduced price of £30 (discounted from full retail price of £50) at this link. A further discount is available for bulk purchases.

Hosted on our online learning platform, the course offers about three hours of video tutorials walking you through the Seven Ways to Build Resilience described in the book. The course is presented as eight recorded modules, the first seven each introducing one of the pathways to building resilience in approximately 15-30 minutes of video. The final module looks at applying resilience tools in the context of the coronavirus crisis.

Here’s the first video from the course, which introduces the core themes and content.

The module themes are:

  • One – The first way of Storyboarding
  • Two – The second way of Emotional First Aid
  • Three – The third way of Thinking Flexibly
  • Four – The fourth way of Overload Management
  • Five – The fifth way of Problem Solving
  • Six – The sixth way of Strengthening Support
  • Seven – The seventh way of Stickability
  • Eight – Resilience Tools in a Time of Coronavirus Crisis

This course is a great introduction to resilience skills, insights, strategies and practices. It offers a more in-depth training than the shorter online course Personal Resilience in an Hour, while also providing a useful practical summary if you’ve done the more advanced Resilience Practitioner Training.

The book Seven Ways to Build Resilience came out in April 2019 and is available in most countries. While not yet published in north America, it is available through most book sellers as an import from the UK.
