Resilience Training

We have three online resilience courses currently available, the first is a video-based short introduction, the second is a companion online course linked to Chris Johnstone’s book Seven Ways to Build Resilience, and the third is a more in-depth practitioner training.

Personal Resilience in an Hour is a video-based on-demand course you can watch at anytime. It offers an hour of video content delivered as 18 short engaging episodes that introduce seven practical strategies for resilience. For more details see here.

Seven Ways to Build Resilience is a vide0-based on-demand course you can watch anytime. It offers about two hours of video content, introducing each of the Seven Ways to Build Resilience described in Chris Johnstone’s book, together with practical strategies linked to each way. It is due for launch on July 14th 2019. Details here.

Resilience Practitioner Training – an in-depth seven module online course, run once a year, each October (starts 22nd Oct 2019), with weekly webinars accompanied by an interactive online resource. See the Resilience Practitioner Training page.

We have two further courses in development

Customised online resilience training for your team or organisation – if you have ten or more people who’d like to follow an online resilience training programme together, we can develop a customised version of our training for you. This can have its own private discussion forum, so members of your team or organisation can explore together how resilience tools can be applied in their specific work context. Dr Chris Johnstone would teach this course, and be available to contribute to online discussions. This option can be delivered with recorded videos for people to watch at their own pace, or can also include live webinars delivered for your team.

Resilience for Doctors is an online resilience training for medical practitioners that is currently at the editing stage and due for launch in September 2019. We have a free mini-course available at the moment. For more details, see here.
