Active Hope

THIS COURSE IS FULLY BOOKED BUT WILL RUN AGAIN NEXT YEAR.

Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed by the scale of problems in our world? Do you wish you could make more of a difference? This online course, based on the book Active Hope by Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone, explores how we can grow our ability and enthusiasm to act for positive change. Led by Chris Johnstone and Barbara Ford, the course involves three elements

  1. A series of six webinars, each an hour long and fortnightly on Sundays from Sept 30th at 6pm UK time, 10am US PT, 1pm US ET, 7pm Europe CET (for other timezones, please see http://www.thetimezoneconverter.com
  2. An online resource hosting additional video, audio and other resources (including conversations with Joanna Macy) plus an interactive discussion forum for building community and exploring themes.
  3. Participants are invited to read Active Hope (not included in course materials) before and/or during the course, each webinar being linked to key sections of the book.
