To give you a flavour of our approach, here’s a few of the videos from the free course. There’s lots more on the course itself.

2. Hunt the Good Stuff – here Chris invites you to try our first practice for Week 1

3. Three Good Things – Miriam invites you to try our second practice for Week 1

4. Developing Your Positive Psychology Foundations – Chris looks at what helps us keep to intentions with practices for wellbeing

And click here to watch/listen to the recording of our free webinar on Positive Psychology Foundations  from 15th January.

In this free online taster course, we’re looking at:

  • What is Positive Psychology?
  • How can evidence-based Positive Psychology Practices act as a foundation to support wellbeing in your life and year ahead?

We’ll be introducing some core insights and practices you can start applying straight away to nourish and protect wellbeing.

We’ll also be introducing our more in-depth eight week online training in Positive Psychology Foundations that starts on 29th January 2020.

What the free course offers

The free online course involves a series of engaging short video and audio episodes hosted on an interactive online resource that also has a discussion forum, so that you can also ask questions and share your experience. The course is presented as four ‘modules’, one becoming available each week starting on January 1st and each addressing a specific question, and inviting you to try out a practice linked to the question.
Our questions are:
Week 1 (from Jan 1st) – What is Positive Psychology? and how can Positive Psychology based Practices act as a foundation for a better year ahead?(introducing insights and practices that nourish wellbeing)
Week 2 (from Jan 8th) – How can I harness my strengths? (introducing strength-building insights and practices)
Week 3 (from Jan 15th) – What helps when things go wrong? (introducing resilience supporting insights and practices)
Week 4 (from Jan 22nd) – How can I support wellbeing for us as well as me?  (introducing insights and practices that nourish our relationships)
There will be some video of us, some pointers to further resources and a simple engaging featured practice that we encourage people to do each week. Because it is mainly video based, and hosted on the online resource (using Ruzuku as a learning platform), you can take this course at your own pace. However, it will only be available for the month of January 2020.
